I used to think I'd like to go back in time, but I don't think I'd want to deal with a world of poor hygiene and no painkillers or medicine. So I'd say a futuristic one, but most of those are dystopian. Maybe a Star Trek one would be nice - where there's no money, everything's hygienic, and medicine has improved.

Bit late to answer this one, but last summer I was focusing on a major family event, so sadly didn't get much reading done. But now I'm back to it, I'm reading a lot more - a lot of research books, but I've also started Slow Horses, which is really helping to get me back into a novelistic frame of mind.

Absolutely the death of my biological mother, which was investigated by the police. Without giving too much away, I'm already planning something!
