L.A. Brown My advice to aspiring writers is to keep writing even when you start to question your abilities. Also give yourself and your characters the freedom to explore your possibilities.
L.A. Brown I am currently working on short stories about everyday creatures within Mystic Haven and Dark Essence (Book 2 in Mystic Haven Series).
L.A. Brown Music inspires me to write, which is why I write with music playing. When I am struggling with a scene I put the appropriate music on (i.e. fighting = scream music, love= slow romantic) and step back from the computer. It helps sometimes to get completely away from the computer and take my mind off the story. By the time I get back, I am looking at it with fresh eyes which helps with ideas.
