Going for walks inspire me to write because I allow my mind to wander when I'm walking. Sometimes I will create a story in my head about people and things that I encounter when walking at the park or in the neighborhood. Some of the stories I come up with are too good to keep to myself.

I take a short break to walk away from the project for about a day or so; no more than a week. During that time I either take a short day trip somewhere close or spend some time outside in nature, depending on the time of year.

Currently, I am working on Valentine's with Her Misters which is a sequel to Christmas with Her Misters. After that, it's back to Abigail with Next Comes Betrayal.

My most recent book, Then Comes More, is book 2 in a series. The idea for the first book, First Comes Lust, came about after the loss of my on again-off again boyfriend. Some of the things Abigail goes through, such as the emails and wearing his clothing, are things I experienced first hand during the grieving process. Of course, I had to spice things up to make a good story, but there is quite a bit of my past reality in this series.
