Well, frankly speaking, based on my limited knowledge on love stories and my natural inclination towards mythological fiction, I have been quite a fan of Shiva and Sati from the Shiva Trilogy by Amish Tripathi.
In real life, my Dad and my late Mom have been my favourite couple :)

Most of the poems in my recent book were part of my personal collection which was only meant to stay in my personal folders in laptop. But after losing my mother to cancer in the beginning of this year, I almost drowned myself in the sea of despair, agony and pain. I has began missing my Mom so much that it was becoming very very difficult to get back to a normal state of life, but thanks to the support and encouragement of my wife, sister and my Dad, I could come out of the 'Black Hole' and then, I realised that the best way to pay my homage to Mom will be through this collection of poems most of which are based on Mother, Motherhood and Women in general. Thus, I have dedicated my book entirely to my Late Mom.

My primary source of inspiration has been always my Mom (whom I lost to cancer in Feb, 2016), my wife and not the least, the Nature.

Currently, I am working on my next anthology of poems, which too will be based on a wide spectrum of themes. Few poems will be quite long ones and will be narrative while there will be poems quite short, as short as 3 to 4 lines.
The work is still and many more poems will be added before it becomes ready for publishing.

Just keep on writing from the core of your heart, and be truthful to your work. Put your best effort in making it your masterpiece and the world will go gaga over you and your work.

A writer, in my opinion, has got the power, by grace of God, to create something out of his/her imagination or based on the facts around us. A true writer does n't write for name and fame. His/Her sole objective remains always to make a place in the hearts and minds of the readers by striking the right chords in them. These are some of the best things about being a writer.

Yes, I have experienced this many a times like any other writer. In fact, I believe this block occurs more in case of a poet than with prose writers.
In my case, I will simply close my eyes for a couple of minutes and try to recollect the secluded pieces of my ideas and thoughts and put them together. Being in the state of closed eyes makes my mind calm and that helps me rejuvenate my poetic skills.
