Where are all of the tape-measures... I used to own an older home... built in 1871 and I know over the 20 years there I must have purchased 20 tape measures, but for all I tried I never had one when I needed it... So maybe call it the "curse of the tape-measure"

Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. I did not read a lot when in school. I'm dyslexic and did not develop my passion for reading until later in life. I found I missed out on a lot of classics. Catching up now :)

Finding a way to get out of your own head for a while. The gym or spending time with family, pets, or a good book. Just relax and don't force things or the readers can tell.

The sense of accomplishment when someone tells you they liked your story. For me I don't think it was real until someone told me they enjoyed it for the first time.

As a child while running a high fever I saw something odd. A shadow that seemed like it was a person. Two of them from what I remember. Was it something supernatural, was it the sun reflection off a car or truck who knows, but I expanded that into this first book Keep in the Light and am continuing on the next two in the series.
