My favourite fictional couple... Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert from the TV show "A different World"
I loved their relationship which started from hate/dislike to a profound love and connection. Whitley gave up her comfort to be with Dwayne, a struggling student and later, engineer. She pushed him to become a confident, successful man and he challenged her to become more grounded, down to earth...
And when he stopped her wedding to the wrong man with the words, "Whitley, I love you!"... wow... I think that was one of the most romantic moments in TV history.

I simply take a few days off and then re-read what I have written so far before attempting to pick up from where I stopped ... it works sometimes..,

I love escaping into a world created by my own imagination and getting others to experience it with me

My advice would be to read lots of books and get in touch with other authors. There is so much to be learned from other authors who have walked the path before.

A trilogy involving Adaora Obi's older twin brothers. I have almost finished book 2 which should be out soon. It's about Chuma and Ifeoma's journey through love, loss, separation and redemption. The book also focuses on difficult issues of domestic abuse involving Ifeoma's family. It is quite a captivating story.
I love writing/ reading about a different side of Africa which the press does not often show. The other side of Africa -A rich Africa with culture, education, aspirations and motivation. The Africa (Nigeria) I experienced.

I have always wanted to write but never did anything about it till I met another author Tolulope Poopuola who is a friend of my sister.
She owns a writers coaching program and she inspired me to do something about my wish to be an author. I'm glad I listened.

I love music. I am always fascinated by musicians. I often wonder how famous musicians handle their overzealous fans. For example, Elvis Priestley had countless female fans falling at his feet, I often wondered how he handled his personal life and how his wife handled the fans.
It always fascinated me reading about Elvis. So I wanted to write about a music star navigating through romance and fame.
