Polina Traore Of course! If you want modern books, I would definitely recommend Flawed series (or two books). I found them to be both well written, and they touch serious topics.
Rainbow Rowell seems to be popular, I've only read "Fangirl", but it's a kind book, so I think a library would benefit from it. If you don't have Philip Pullman, I'd recommend his books too. I can't of anything else right now, but If I do, I'll be sure to tell you :)
Polina Traore I think I already have my bags packed and ready to be shipped to the City, which we invented (or borrowed from a parallel Universe). I would go meet "Fit to Kill", try to get a job with "DannieStar", hang out at Dickens, and complain to John about my problems. Then I'd definitely write a book about this world :)
Polina Traore There's a bunch of books, and not nearly enough time. I hope to be able to finish at least three before July.
Right now I'm looking forward to reading "Perfect", "Blue Waters" and "Dirt".
Polina Traore Anything could be a mystery. It's like with time travel - even if someone went back and changed something, how would I know? Basically, you can get a story out of any event.
Polina Traore To misquote Leo Tolstoy, all happy couples are alike, each unhappy couple is unhappy in it's own way. I definitely prefer the dynamic of an unhappy one. As for favorites - it's not easy to pick one, most of them find their happily ever after, that's why I pick the one that didn't happen: Jo and Laurie (Little Women/Good Wives even though, the second one was disappointing). But talk about meant to be...
Polina Traore I don't :( I give in to it, and procrastinate a lot. But this is exactly the reason why there's two of us. Never write alone, and there will always be someone to kick you, and make you go back to work. And then you are suddenly full of energy and ideas again :).
