Oh my. That's a good question. There are so many places I would love to visit. I would love to go back in time and visit with Pa, Ma and Laura from the Little House series. What I would give to be a friend of Karen Kingsbury's Baxter Family. Oh, and to spend the day playing with Junie B Jones. But, if I could only choose one, I'd have to pick spending the day with Dorothy searching for the wonderful Wizard of Oz. How fun it would be to skip down the yellow brick road with the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow. Somehow, by the end of the day, I would have to try on those beautiful ruby red slippers!

Honestly? I take a walk outside. I walk through God's creation and take in the beauty of it all. It causes me to relax and often the story will start flowing again.

I have been making up stories and writing since I was a little girl. My cousin and I made sock puppets when we were in elementary school and wrote a skit for them. After presenting it to our class our 2nd grade teacher asked us to share it with the other classes. I enjoyed it so much that I have been writing ever since. It wasn't until last year, though that I decided to take my dream being an author and make it a reality.
