Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?

Tami Payton :0 Horror isn't really my thing. I will admit there's a few things that scare me, especially clowns! But here goes lol!

As I walked through the mist and fog, the footsteps behind me got louder catching up with me. I knew my time was up as I was grabbed from behind, letting out a scream as I looked into the eyes of the man that would end it all.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Tami Payton oh! There are so many! I would definitely say to any Fae world. The way it's always described in books sounds magical, even when it's dark Fae. Not to mention they always sound so sexy, light or dark ;)

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Tami Payton I'm actually a huge fan of L.A. Cotton. So her new series is on my reading list! I guess you could call me a fangirl :) The Rixon Raiders series has been great so far!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tami Payton I got the ideas from things I like, I've always had a fetish for wolves, I'm part Cherokee, so that's part of it. My dad drove motorcycles and I rode with him and there's that as well. I'm a believer in a woman doesn't need to lean on a man so that's where you will find the strong women in my books. They come from everywhere!

How do you get inspired to write?

Tami Payton I've always written, even as a child. I would start with poems, and then go to small stories. I guess you could say I just put the voices in my head to good use ;)

What are you currently working on?

Tami Payton A series that at the moment is driving me crazy lol! I can't seem to fit everything where I want them. But it's a shifter series and I'm hoping everyone will like it :)

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Tami Payton If it makes you happy and it's what you want to do, then do it! Don't ever give up! Yes, it's a long hard road, and yes, some people may knock you down along the way, but if it's your dream then follow it.
