I just discovered your series, and read both books back to back. I noticed they were both released this year. Do you write fast or did you hold on to the first until the second was nearly ready? Do you have a third in the works? (I am really enjoying the series and will keep an eye out for more:)

Amanda Creiglow A little bit of both! I write fast, but not *quite* as fast as I released these. I'd finished the rough draft of book two and gotten my first round of feedback on it when book one was released. I'm currently in the outline phase of book three, which will feature ghosts, ghouls, and considerably more (necromancerish) wizards. The next thing I'll put out, however, will likely be a prequel novella featuring Elizabeth's father, which will be free for newsletter subscribers.
