Probably the most important one was a book called The Morale Premise by Stanley Williams. It was focused on movies, but it did a great job of helping me understand how to ground a story in relatable human struggles.

I am currently working on Journey into Darkness, the second book in the Towers of Light Series. In this book the children must leave the Heathlands based on some instructions that were left for them by their Father. However, different people have different ideas about these instructions. We'll be introduced to some new characters and more of the world of Zoura as well.

I like to have three projects going at the same time. For my main piece of work I have new composition ongoing, with edits of previous sections simultaneously, then I have some side project. I alternate between the three.

Han Solo and Princess Leia of course. Their match made in the Force was something I was so convinced of as a kid I wrote a scathing letter to Marvel Comics when it appeared they were following a story line where Luke and Leia were going to get together. Apparently I was so eloquent at the time they actually published my letter in Star Wars Issue #84, check out Star Words at the end of the comic. It was technically my first national publication.
