We get inspired to write by new ideas, our students, people in our lives, artwork, other books, and by visiting new places. We make a great team and are often inspired by each other. I guess we just have so much fun writing books together that it doesn't feel like work. It's what we love to do.

Writer's block can be tough. We just continue to revisit our ideas until the time feels right. You have some days where you just don't feel creative and then you have others where the creativity just doesn't stop. Write on the days that you feel good about writing and feel creative. We always write our ideas down each day and then revisit them. Sometimes, we are even just inspired by something simple to pick the pencil back up.

It's such an exciting piece of our lives. We love to write. We also love learning about new things to write about. You get to use your imagination and let your creativity run wild!

Never give up! We got discouraged at times but never gave up. We discovered new opportunities along the way of writing our first book. We also met so many new inspirational people who are now such an influence in our lives. We are thrilled that we were determined to write this first book and continued to DREAM BIG and finish our book. Be sure to follow your dreams.

We are writing a series of Benson's Adventures books. Benson loves to travel with students. We are currently working on our second Benson's Adventures book and continued to be inspired by our Great Lakes State. We want students to be inspired by new opportunities to DREAM BIG!
