David Alexanian Yes, I have been to Japan several times. It is such an amazing country, steeped in it's ancient history. I can't wait to go back. As for the swords, yes martial arts has been one of my passions my whole life, with swords being particularly fascinating to me.

David Alexanian Sitting on a bench in Paris one summer in front of the Seine, I saw a little girl pulling a man, her father, by the hand. Even though she was tiny, he was powerless to resist being taken wherever the little girl wanted him to go. That image remained in my mind and slowly the story was born from that.
