I suppose from all the military romance I've been reading lately. The inspiration for using Marines came from first and foremost my husband. He was a Marine from 99 - 07. Then because I wasn't finding many military romance that had Marines. Most were SEALs or Army

Honestly, it was Sailor Moon fanfiction of all things. Lol. At 16 I began writing fanfiction and over the years started dabbling in original works.

Currently I'm plotting book 2 of the Blackout Series which will deal with Lance "Hawkeye" Archer and will be introducing Kaylee Porter. I'm hoping to release their book sometime in spring on 2017.

As a new author myself, the only advise I can offer is stay true to yourself and don't be afraid to share your work. You never know until you try.

Um everything. Lol. I love the creative freedom to be able to create characters and situations that I personally would like to read. I won't write something that I myself wouldn't read.

Well, usually if it's really bad I put my piece away for a day or two and just not think about it. Then come back to it with a fresh mindset.
