A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. That would be a lot of fun. I would travel through space and time and from galaxy to galaxy with Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin. I'd help rescue the Murrys' father and fight back The Black Thing that intruded into several worlds. I'd love to meet Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who, and Mrs Which. I want to experience Uriel, Orion's Belt, Camazotz, and Ixchel for myself.

Opened the door, accidentally let a big ole fly in and thought, “I’ve gotta kill that sucker!” Went for the fly swat, turned back around and saw a wolf spider dragging that sucker up the door to its death.

I enjoy the company of other writers, listen to music, read a book, make some art (draw or paint), visit an art gallery, go for a nature walk, or travel somewhere different. This usually gets my creative writer juices flowing.

I feel that hearing from readers who can relate to what I write is the best thing about being a writer. To have readers tell me that I've written things they had been wanting to say for a long time but couldn't figure out how to, or were afraid to, makes me feel good. This makes me feel like my writing has served a good purpose and I am humbled by that. I want to write, need to write, and have to write. It's pretty important for me. Just knowing that I can express myself (which is the main reason I write) and help someone else express themselves as well, gives me an awesome feeling. Having people identify with what I choose to express is the best part.

As of right now, I'm working on a book of poems called, The Green Maze 2. It's about my relationship with nature. I'd say it's about 50% complete.

Write. Stop writing to live a little. Then, write some more. The more you write, the better you will get. Write what you know and never give up. Let no one discourage or intimidate you into not writing.

My most recent book is, The Riddle and the Dedication (Revamped). It is a restoration project, so to speak. I updated the book, gave it somewhat of a makeover. It has new cover art, some typographical error corrections, new versions of old poems, and a few brand-new poems added in.
I believe that life is a conundrum, a riddle. I must figure it out as I go. I liken it to a Rubick's Cube. It seems I'm always turning and twisting, trying to solve the puzzle. This book is dedicated to anyone who is perplexed by life while trying to find their way. I decided to call it, The Riddle and the Dedication, because it is about a riddle, and it is a dedication.

I quit forcing myself and trying so hard. I get out and live, until I've experienced something interesting enough to write about, if I want to write about it, that is. I guess if I had strict deadlines to meet, writer's block would be a serious problem for me. Fortunately, I don't have to adhere to any real deadlines when it comes to my writing, yet.
