Hi Magdalena, Good question. Now I have proven to myself that I have the stamina to write I do think about embarking on another book. I range in thoughts from Fiction, children's, memoir and even others Biographies. I am undecided and the process of writing does take time and creative energy which I am short of now I have started a new post back as a Detective. Colin

To be honest being a writer is a necessary evil to the pleasure of being read. I love it when I receive honest feedback, positive or negative. I learn from both.

I had been blogging online for several years about my job as a Police Sergeant on Scilly to many thousands of readers. My book received press interest and a publisher spotted it, liked my style and the quirky, island policing subject matter and asked me to write a book.

I go for a walk. I take a note pad with me and write down and refine my next line as I walk. I then type it as soon as I get home before the moment passes.
