Sometimes inspiration hits in a [day]dream, a passing thought, or through something I misheard.... but writing isn't something I do when it hits me (although I'm thankful for those moments of inspiration), but it's something I am constantly doing on napkins, small pieces of paper, or recording in my phone during my everyday activities. Inspiration is sometimes only aspiration.
