He heard the sounds of bones snapping and flesh peeling from the bones before he saw the creature. The last thing he did was scream before the creature turned and pounced upon him.

Ironically this summer I am spending writing The Rejected Princess and reading some graphic novels. I currently plan on finishing King of Thorns by Mark Lawrence and plan on reading the graphic novels Injustice Year 1 & 2 and maybe start reading some Wonder Woman. I have the first volume of the New 52 reboot as well. If I finish all that I have all the Maze Runner books I might start and I have the collection of Jeff & Taylor (a local author) that I wouldn't mind killing my brain too.

Write. Write. Read. And write. Don't worry about anything but writing. Don't worry about getting published, go ahead and self published. I believe the world needs all the stories it can get.

History. I am one of those who thinks that we can learn a great deal about what is going on in the world and what will go on in the world based off the history of the world. It must be true if Generals of today study great battles from long ago. I tend to put all of it into the world of Hyaterra. The great battles, letters and speeches of history tend to find their way into Hyaterra.

The worlds and people I visit in my writings. I want to think I have met some really great men and woman in my books. Most of my characters are based off historical figures so I have a great time pitting different people in conversations and situations.

I take time away from writing and I read a book or watch some Netflix.
