It started in math class junior year in high school. I was dozing off (who cares about quadratic equations, right?) when I started day dreaming about a kingdom where supernatural creatures lived. Eventually math class just became the hour block where I wrote little notes about the kingdom and the people living there. Years--and four rough drafts later--Death of the Hybrid King was born.

By traveling, reading and people watching. When I travel I get inspired by the scenery and it helps me create new worlds, reading my favorite authors inspires me in a lot of ways, and by people watching it helps me see how people interact and helps me develop my characters.

I'm currently working on book two in the Kingdom of Atonia Series, and a spin off series based on some of the characters mentioned through out the KoA series.

Read as much as you can in the genre you want to write in. Study how books are written and find other authors who inspire you.
