How do you deal with writer’s block?

Melissa Ruth I always have a few books I'm working on at the same time. If one is not flowing as desired, I switch gears and move to one of the others. However, I'm cautious about when I start writing. If I'm too tired, haven't slept well, or am not feeling well, I just don't even try to write.
