Michael Wisehart I don't want to give spoilers, but as for Ayrion, I wouldn't want to push the return until I have a full book I can allot to it. :-)

And you should be very happy with Book 5 in regard to your other hopeful suggestions/questions.
Michael Wisehart Hi Dennis,

I believe GraphicAudio is more of a publisher, where in I don't believe I can simply hire them to create. They want to possibly own the rights and publish themselves. I'm just now getting out of a situation like that. Not planning on getting back into one, if I can help it. :-) Also, the price of creating something with a cast as enormous as mine and books as large as mine would be astronomical. But I can look more into it later.
Michael Wisehart Hi Wendy,

I am working on book 5 (Blood of the Mountains) at present and hope to publish this year (2025). No set release date at the moment. :-)
Michael Wisehart No set release date at present. Still drafting. This has been an incredibly busy year with me pulling away from Amazon exclusivity to build my own storefront and sell to my readers directly. It has eaten heavily into my writing. The next book will have a 2025 release.

Michael Wisehart Hi Maricel. I am planning on 10+ books in this series.

I released the final book in the prequel series (Street Rats of Aramoor) last year.
Michael Wisehart Hi Rodney,

Shackled was too short of a book to turn into a paperback version (too flimsy), which is why I had created it as a hardback when my online store was in operation. However, with the cost of printing and shipping having escalated to the point of not being able to see any profit, I had to close the store and suspended all hardback editions of the books for the foreseeable future.

Sorry it's not quite the answer you were hoping for. Perhaps, one day in the not so distant future I'll be able to offer them again.
Michael Wisehart Hi Shari. I would suggest going back and reading the Street Rats series as it takes place 20 years prior to The White Tower. Also, make sure you read the Aldoran Chronicles prequel "Shackled" before starting on the 3rd book, entitled: "The Four-Part Key". Hope this helps.
Michael Wisehart Hi Marilyn,

Glad to see you are enjoying the series. I'm working on the 4th book now. In fact, I just put a couple of posts out to my Facebook followers concerning where I'm at with the book. If you'd like to keep up with my work, my FB author page would be the best choice. You can follow me here: https://www.facebook.com/MichaelWiseh...

I also have several progress bars for my books on the homepage of my website, here: https://michaelwisehart.com/

My hope is to have the fourth book published by the fall of this year.

Thanks,
Michael
Michael Wisehart Hi Abby,

Good Question. I have two series that I'm working on at present. Both series are within the same world.

The master series, which is The Aldoran Chronicles is for ages 13 and up. No sex and No language in any of my books. However, their are medieval battle scenes, and the very first book has some torture, but I try to tamper it with the character who's being tortured's sarcasm.

The second series, Street Rats of Aramoor, takes one of the main characters from the master series and goes back 20 years to follow him as a 13 year-old living on the streets of the capital city. It's written from a younger standpoint, but I have just as many adults, if not more, reading them as I do kids. Those books are for all ages. Again, no sex or language.

I prefer to keep my books clean.

I hope that answers your questions.

Stay safe!
Michael
Michael Wisehart Hi Rodney,

With Shackled being set as a free giveaway, and the fact that it is a prequel novella and not a 600-700 page doorstop, putting the money into producing it is a tough choice.

I might consider doing a short run of the book this year, and make the paperback available on my online store: https://store.michaelwisehart.com/

Best way to keep up with any of those updates is to follow me on my Facebook author page: https://www.facebook.com/MichaelWiseh...

Hope this helps,
Michael
Michael Wisehart Good question, Jay!

The audio will be released one week after the ebook and paperback.

October 1st - Paperback, eBook
October 8th - Audiobook
Michael Wisehart Greetings,

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the story. As far as the second book goes, Plague of Shadows, the script is finished and it's now in the hands of my audio publisher. Looking for a fall release. You can also check on the status of my books from my website's home page. At the bottom, I have a full progress chart for the books I'm working on and the steps involved in bringing each book to life. https://michaelwisehart.com/ You can also keep up with what I'm doing from my author Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MichaelWiseh...

As far as writing style, you typically hear of two basic categories: pantsers and plotters. Those that fly by the seat of their pants with no outline or structure, but basically give free-rein to their characters and let them guide the story are considered pantsers. Plotters are heavily invested in outlining everything, knowing before they start writing everything that will happen in the book, which is a little more rigid and formulaic.

However, no author is just one or the other. We all have both. Some lean more toward going where the story takes them, while others keep the story contained and on point by holding to the bullet points. I for example lean more toward the pantser, but I keep control of the story by setting basic goals. I start each book by framing a definable end point, where I want to see the book finish, then I let my characters guide me there. I don't like outlining every aspect of my book because it holds me to a confined space and doesn't allow for the unexpected.

Every book I write has taken me to places I would have never thought of if I'd tried outlining everything from the beginning. I will say, that the more books I write, the more outlining I tend to do, especially when working on a series as complex as the Aldoran Chronicles.
Michael Wisehart Hi Rodney.

Absolutely! At the moment I'm in the process of nearly doubling the size of book 1: Banished. When I first wrote it, it was meant as a prequel novella, but ended up taking on a life of its own. I had written it after first writing Hurricane: Book 2, but my Beta Readers insisted I give them the backstory, so Banished was born. I'm hoping to have it completed, editing, and published as a 2nd edition by the end of February. Also my narrator Tim Gerard Reynolds is anxious to start his work on the audiobooks.

Hope that answers your question.
