Arun Gowda I find inspiration in everything around. Music, people, buildings, roads and even the breeze that whispers around the ear. It's important to write down the idea and let it get absorbed into the soul, if it stays long enough, then its time to pen that story.
Arun Gowda I just published my 4th book, a novel called "Love You Twice". Right now I am working on strategies for the book to reach all those avid readers.
But however, I will probably start off a new project by the end of 2025.
This time, I am planning to go for a Horror Thriller.
Arun Gowda Don't let others judge your script or idea.
Write, re-write, keep enhancing it until you think it's perfect.
But technically speaking, every aspiring writer must form his own way and style of writing.
Prepare a skeleton of script and ideas, divide them into chapters or situations, start elaborately writing them.
Most important - stay consistent!
Arun Gowda The best thing about being a writer is that you get to imagine different things and write openly about it without being judged (at least that's what I think).
You are giving readers the gift of imagination and letting them explore different flavours of literature, so as a writer it's important to write sensibly and responsibly.
Ofcourse, the joy of knowing that others are enjoying what you are writing - that's the perks of being a writer!
Arun Gowda Well, writers block is pretty common, especially for folks like me juggling a day job, family responsibilities and also chasing the dreams.
It's not a problem primarily.
But how I deal with them depends on the situation, whether it's me thinking about a story phase or me writing the story phase etc etc.
So yeah, maybe listening to music, watching movies, riding my motorcycle under the open sky or as simple as just having a couple of drinks with some old country music.
Arun Gowda Well, I am not a seasonal reader, I read almost every single night before going to bed. I mostly enjoy books of Lee Child, Stephen King, Amish Tripathi, David Baldacci and many such incredible readers. I am not a writer specific person, but mostly a genre specific person.
I prefer reader, crime thrillers, action and similar interesting stuff.
Arun Gowda There is no such thing as an idea that inspires a person to write. For writers, especially the fictional ones like me, we create ideas and we write it in a subtle way that gets accepted by readers and let them live that fiction in their own flavour.
