Develop a sense of transparency in your ego and attitude. Receive feedback, and yes even criticism with grace. Don't let YOU get in the way of readers seeing the story. Remember that you are writing to share your imagery and thoughts with others. It makes no sense that you would do anything to stand in the way of that happening.

Writing about Jonathan Harker is something I have always wanted to try. When I made the leap from Non-Fiction and Ghost Writing to Fiction, I struggled to find a character with whom I connected. That is when I remembered Jonathan - and the rest is history.
