J.P. Lundstrom Forget about it--it'll come when it's ready. In the meantime, play games, visit friends, and read the kind of books you enjoy.
J.P. Lundstrom Two things: the hours and the dress code.
J.P. Lundstrom Most people say, "Don't give up." My advice is "Go ahead and get started!" I waited for years to have enough quiet time to write. What a waste!
J.P. Lundstrom I have three work in progress right now. One is a romance entitled "At the Movies. Another is Book two of the Poison Fruit Trilogy, a mystery. It follows "The Fruit of the Poisonous Tree," and the title is "The Illusion Show," another mystery. There is a back story that winds through all three books, although a particular crime is solved in each one.
J.P. Lundstrom There's no single answer. Sometime it's something I see, like "Basil and the Tomato," other times it's people I've known. Some are even inspired by my own experiences, but I won't say which.
J.P. Lundstrom I always enjoyed watching the old movie serials played on t.v. There was one called "The Dead-End Kids" I thought was funny. When I got the idea for "Basil and the Tomato" (the title was inspired by a pizza menu) the language and story fell into place.
