I wait until I am mentally in a space where I can actually be creative and productive during the allotted block of time, I call this the zone. If I am not in the zone of writing due to life throwing up too many distractions then I am basically fooling myself into thinking I am going to be productive with writing for that day. I get in the zone by settling life affairs such as work and home and carving out free time around those responsibilities to dedicate towards writing. The key is keeping life fires at a minimum, to the degree that you can control them.

When people ask me a question about health, I get to respond, "in section 3 of my book...." It feels great to reference a resource that personally created.

I am inspired by my call to service. It is my greatest desire to always be of assistance to others in a way that serves me as the giver and others as receivers. As a physician, I am very knowledgeable about holistic natural health and wellness and I desire to continue to use myself as a resource for others to enhance their experience with life via great health.

I had been teaching a seminar on detoxification over the past couple of years to different groups and I realized that it was a lot of material for the participants to absorb in one sitting. I decided that the participants needed a manual to take away and refer back to as needed. In the process of creating a short manual it evolved into so much more, hence my first book "Detox-Style" was born.
