When I get writer's block I tend to walk away from the computer, staring at a blank screen only makes it worse. Go outside, play a game with the kids or hubby. Anything that isn't writing related. Kind of like airing out a room except I am airing out my mind.

I have always loved Greek Mythology so I knew I wanted to write a book about that. The seven characters in The Secret Sanctuary were characters I created when I was around 9 years old. So when I finally decided to sit down and put all my ideas on paper I decided to take the seven imaginary friends of a 9 year old and put them into a story that had a bit of Greek Mythology in it with a twist.
