This idea for this book came to me, I didn't go looking for it. I was attending a book event by another author, the late Benjamin Ricci--who wrote Crimes Against Humanity, which chronicles a federal class action lawsuit against those in charge of the former Belchertown State School--when a man told me he was a former resident at BSS, and was looking for someone to help him write his story.
