The Sin of the World is an ancient story for me, and the core of the story is borrowed from a more ancient book I once read. As in all fiction, fantasy and science-fiction, there's nothing really new here, as it had been from the beginning of times (joke), but the angle used for my novel is a sort of combination of reality issues and the persistent critic and parody of the fanatism in all levels.
Doña Ernestina Beltrán, the great antagonist, is the big monster here, and you know it when you read it: an intolerant and cruel woman who suddenly gets a chance to make her puritanism fantasies come true. She's a common villain, and original at the same time. And the struggles of Wendy and friends trying to escape from her obsessive universe are the most traditional confrontation of the smart Goodness versus the smart Perversion. But... who's what?

Three different stories of science fiction (and/or) horror, and the sequel of The Sin of the World.

Don't give up. But be sure that you had read a lot and start writing when you really feel prepared, when you think that you are familiar with the tricks of storytelling.
And always, always write when you have a true idea of what's the story you want to tell... not only sit in front of your computer (or typewriter if you're vintage lover) wondering "I want to write something but, what would be?"

The fun of creating a whole world, an entire history, and the omnipotence feeling while this is happening. The moment and satisfaction when the work is done and getting people to know about it.

I really don't suffer writer's block. My only ill is not having enough time to write everything that I think about.
