I remember reading the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld when I was in high school and although it was a dystopian society, I always tried to imagine what it would look like if it were real. I can't say what I would do there, other than be terrified by the "pretties" and their inhuman like traits, but I still want to see it!!!! :)

It was an idea that evolved over time. It first started at just the thought of a military man and reality star, but then I began layering pieces.

Everywhere! Other books, TV, dreams, music, and honestly random thoughts pop into my head and I write them down and sort them out and piece them together later.

Currently, I'm working on a romantic comedy series- I Am Woman, to be released this summer, and another two follow ups in the next year or so. I'm also working on a book called Binary. It is a lot darker and more erotic than I'm used to writing, but it has me very excited. You can check out my Instagram for updates! There are a handful of other things I'm outlining at the moment.

I love being able to pull emotion out of other people with something that I've written. I also love being able to create something from nothing.

It depends on how bad it actually is. If I'm just hung up on how to say something, I tend to jot down the idea and just work around it and come back later. Sometimes my writer's block stems from burn out. When that happens, it's best to give myself a break and let my brain rest. I usually come back refreshed and with a new perspective and ideas!
