My piece of advice is to write even if English is not your mother tongue.

given that English is my second language, I never thought of being a writer. I do read a lot and then one day it occurred to me that I wanted to do something extraordinary in my life. Since I started writing for over a year now, it has been the best thing ever happen to me. I feel the sense of freedom.

I do not believe in writer's block. (This is just my personal opinion.) Writer's block is when your brain is fried. You need to take a break.

I would travel to the book called Outlander. I want to help Claire find Jaime Frazer. Perhaps help her nurse all the wounded Highlanders too.
