A project titled Port Fairy Ghost Stories. A group of us from Port Fairy have been collecting the town's folklore for two and a half years now. We are publishing a book of the stories on 2nd December 2017 at Blarney Books & Art (37 James Street, Port Fairy). All of the stories are being illustrated by local artists and Blarney Books & Art is hosting an exhibition of the artworks from the book for two months from the launch date. It has been great fun working on the project and a good proportion of the town has become involved along the way. You can find out more at www.portfairyghoststories.com.

Read and write endlessly. Utterly indulge yourself. If you find a writer that you love, read everything they have written. As an exercise, it can teach you a lot.

I don't really believe in it. Whenever I've felt stuck it's generally because I'm not clear on what it is I want to say. Clarifying that question seems to remove any doubt and allow me to move forward. Sometimes the answer comes from a deep place, so the challenge is to unearth the treasure - sometimes from murky places you'd prefer not to go!
