Hi Fred I enjoyed reading the book “getting together, building relationships as we negotiate “. I’m a pastor and have had to use some of this info for counseling. How have you seen the relevance of the book in your field.? I also advise people in occupational health and safety issues. Thanks for your response. Fernando

Fred Fanning Hello Fernando,

I believe that all work done in occupational safety and health can be enhanced with good relationships. When people are in a relationship suggestions for abating safety hazards are a much easier conversation and more work gets done. When relationships are missing coming to agreements on things like hazard abatement is much harder.

How do you get inspired to write?

Fred Fanning I was inspired to write as a young child but never got around to it until I was an adult. I solicited parts of my graduate project as articles but was offered an opportunity to publish it as a book. It took off from there.
