How do you deal with writer’s block?

Catherine Pearlman If I can take a break and write at another time I do that. Or I go to a secluded place where I won't be distracted. For my book I rented a house overlooking the ocean for four days. I brought in groceries and didn't leave the house. I had nothing to do all day but write. No distractions. It worked like a charm.
