P.L. Bennett Writing about things you love; being able to freely express yourself, share your knowledge and beliefs to help others is deeply fulfilling.
P.L. Bennett Often people say they love to write or they want to write and when you ask them what they have written, they have nothing! My advice is simply; START WRITING! Don't start worrying about book title and structure, that will come later. Use your smart phone or voice recorder to record your thoughts until you are able to write them down. Keep a notebook and pen close at hand for those moments when inspiration is flowing. You may be inspired by life, people around you, your experiences and circumstances or you may have an amazingly creative mind or extensive knowledge. We all function differently so don't worry about how someone else is doing it or how the famous writers did it; just concentrate on what works for you. Start writing, you may discard many attempts before you write something you are happy with, so just keep going!
P.L. Bennett I am currently working on two books. The first one started some time ago is ongoing and cannot be rushed. It is called Pentecost: A New Dawn and is an academic book about how the Physical and Virtual Worlds converge. The legacy of the Apostles and the men and women of God trailblazing in a new era. With improved global infrastructure in the 21st century; how effective is the spreading of the Gospel and the effects of Technology on Christianity.

The second one which will be completed soon is focused on the effects of living a life with and without HOPE. In a world where parents kill children and children kill parents, people take their own lives, brothers kill sister and vice versa; in the age of the 'cides. What hope is there for us if any at all? It is the first of a series of books dealing with the realities of life and how to apply our faith to our circumstances.
P.L. Bennett My ultimate inspiration comes from my faith and belief in Jesus Christ. When I need inspiration I pray for it and the Holy Spirit blesses me with that gift. When I hit a wall, I pray again. I also use my life experiences and the experiences of those around me and the challenges that the world throws at us.
P.L. Bennett The idea for My Alabaster Box: A Simple Guide Through the Christian Journey came from listening to many new Christians who were trying to understand the Faith and the journey they had embarked on. I realised that they were asking the same questions I had asked through the years and as I prepared handouts and notes for them; I thought it would be more useful to put everything together in a book that they could use as a guide in their first year of being a 'Born again Christian.'
P.L. Bennett When I hit a wall, I step away from my laptop completely. I catch up on the housework or just take a rest and stop thinking about the book. I pray a lot so I constantly ask God for inspiration to help me to move forward with my writing. Often there will be a flow in my spirit in the middle of me doing a household chore or when I am out shopping; but more often than not when I wake up the next morning there is an overflow of inspiration and ideas and I grab my notebook which is always close by or my voice recorder and jot down or record the main points until I get on to my laptop to start writing again.
