Give it a go. Do not allow anyone to stop your creative juices from flowing. Even if it is just for yourself, write it down or type away on a keyboard. Allow yourself to fly and be carried away on which ever adventure you decide to take. You will never know, if you do not give it a go. Sometimes you might have to try several times. (That would be me)

Writers block, can be one of the most annoying things I can come across. I end up, picking up my e-reader and read another good book or relax and listen to music. This helps in placing my mind on a different topic, sometimes it might be able to trigger the muse in participating and continuing on with the story, I am currently working on. Sometimes it might take me into another direction and another book.
