I am currently working on a civil war novel (historical fiction) called, "A Dark Place of Promise" and another prayer devotional called, "The Holy Struggle."

Inspiring others is the best part of being a writer. It is our job to be in community with one another, hold space and be a good witness to what I call the holy struggle (title of my next book). Honestly, I pray a lot! I have to get quiet often to be my best self and that benefits my writing immensely. I recommend prayer or meditation be a part of any writer's life. It's essential.
