My most important source of inspiration is a group of supportive and encouraging people, including my girlfriend, family, and friends. It's easier to write when I'm surrounded by people who are excited to see what I write next.

I don't face writer's block very often, as I typically know what I want to write. However, I do have days where I don't feel much like writing. If I encounter a day like that, I might jump to a section of the book that I'm excited to write so that the words will flow more readily. If I'm really struggling, I just force myself to get something on the page. Even if it's complete garbage, at least it gives me something I can work with later on.

I'm currently finishing my next novel, Storm Raven, which is best described as YA Fantasy with pirates. This book will be coming out on December 15, 2017.

The best part about being a writer is getting to breathe life into the characters and stories that have been brewing in my head. Sometimes, writing takes my ideas in new directions and becomes an adventure all on its own.
