If anyone says they've never had writer's block, it's a lie. We all encounter it at one point or other. For me, it depends on the moment. Sometimes I can overcome writer's block with a song, reading a book, doing a puzzle, going on a hike, playing with my puppy, etc. It really depends on the moment, but it's important to find what works for you.

I just wrapped up the Amazon best-selling series, The Forgotten Kingdom series, and now I'm working on another fairy tale retelling. I've taken a lot of advice from reviewers who didn't like how far I strayed from the original fairytales, so hopefully this currently secret series will appease that. (coming fall 2021)

I usually have an idea come to me like a scene from a movie. It could be inspired by a book cover, a song, a book I just read, a movie, piece of artwork, or something I saw someone do. I can get ideas from pretty much anything.

After starting to watch Hallmark movies this season, I decided it would be fun to write a clean love story that could be a Hallmark movie. I turned on Christmas music, lit a Christmas-scented candle, and set to work!
