When the words don't want to come, then I reread the chapter I'm in to see if I have gone somewhere in the story/character/etc. that I really shouldn't have. That usually cures the problem, if not, then I do something else: shop, eat, play solitaire, write on something else.......

You can do anything and go anywhere in your mind - it's pure magic. It never ceases to amaze me what we as writers can give to others by telling the story. I'm just a big kid who still enjoys all the surprises a story can give.

Just write and believe in yourself. When the 1st draft is done, enjoy what you have accomplished and what the characters have shown you about yourself. Its not easy, but the rewards come with every scene, every character, and the satisfaction of writing the story down for yourself and others.
