Ben Russell I'm going to cheat a little here: I would consider going to the world of Inkheart. There are some dark forces at work there, but at the same time I might be able to have access to the world of any book I chose to pick up and read!
If I couldn't have my cake and eat it too, I'd go to Narnia. I think I'd enjoy that world the most!
Ben Russell Dragons Realm by Eileen Mueller - it's a choose your own destiny book that I'm wanting to dig into.
Ben Russell Have you ever played that campfire game where somebody starts a story, the next person continues it and the story keeps getting passed on till everyone has a chance to add their two cents? To me, writing is like that. I seem to have a knack for coming up with creative things in those creative games, but writing is a way to amplify and then solidify that talent. In other words, I create the whole story and then pass it on for posterity. It's a lot of fun!
Ben Russell Marketing Noah Drake And The Dragon Killer and I'm compiling a book titled Creation For Newbies.
Ben Russell I just share what's burning on my heart at the time. Fictional content can tell stories to share lessons I want to teach, and have fun while doing it. I enjoy making up stories too, and creating characters that are interesting.
Ben Russell In early 2015 my family and I were taking a much needed vacation at one of my favorite destinations. This particular place teaches a lot about science. A recurring theme of evolution began to annoy me. Every ride or display started with the assumption that there was a big bang and creation evolved on it's own.

"50,000 years ago man learned how to till the soil and grow vegetables..." What, was man so dumb he didn't notice seeds growing into fruit trees and vegetable plants? I don't think so.

I was impressed to do something about it. I can teach the alternative to evolution. I can teach history and creation. That's how this book and series came to be.
Ben Russell I change gears and write something else. Maybe develop a character or a subplot. I may write something different altogether. One author friend of mine recommends changing the type of writing. If I'm writing fiction, start writing non-fiction because it uses a different part of the brain.
