C.A. Hunter Great question.

Probably one of the greatest mystery is of my one of my great great great grandmothers, who little is known about her. She was a "Foundling" (Abandoned), left by someone after her birth in Antrim County Northern Ireland in the mid 1800's. Raised by a foundling and orphan organisation, or family who fostered foundlings.

Would be interesting to write her story, why she was abandoned, her early life. Was it her mother who came from somewhere else and left her there, or did her mother die and her father left her..... Who were her parents.... Or was her mother unmarried, and had no option but to abandon her...

I may get to do that after my current book I am working on. Certainly many a plot could be worked out about that.
C.A. Hunter Love to go to the "London of the Cynsters" in Stephanie Laurens books. Love to meet some of the Cynster men. Would be wonderful to be one of Stephanie Laurens lead female characters, fall in love with and marry a man like the Duke of St Ives..

Other than that, would love to travel to the world of Johanna Lindeys' Ly-San-Ter series. Some of the images she write about are amazing, just being able to see some of the landscapes and the animals she created would be amazing.
C.A. Hunter Gosh where to start... Currently reading e-book Stephanie Laurens The Beguilement of Lady Eustacia Cavanaugh. Must get the next one in the series. Love Stephanie Laurens work..

Just finished reading Paperback version of The Bluebird Girls, the ferryboat girls and The Narrow boat Girls all by Rosie Archer. Waiting on some other books from her series, to come back from loan at the library. Truly interesting reading. All the books are based during WWII, and about the girls who take on men's jobs due to them all going to war. Amazing stuff.

Just started reading Caroline Robers "Rachel's Pudding Pantry".
C.A. Hunter Ah !!! the dreaded writer's block......

Personally, for me, I just walk away and don't try and force anything to come. Eventually the rest of the story will just start forming in my mind. If I try and force the writing to progress, the results are not good.

So I just leave the story until I get the thoughts forming in my mind again, and then go from there.

Each writer has their own way of dealing with the dreaded WB.
C.A. Hunter Being able to escape the real world for a short time and create something that is unique.

I originally started writing for the entertainment of friends, and for a personal birthday or Christmas present. Knowing that I bring joy to others is an inspiration in its self.
C.A. Hunter Don't give up..... I chose to self publish, as trying to attract a publisher to take you on is difficult these days.

Join a Writers Group.... They are a source of great in-site on improving your works and knowledge: That is how I first got enough courage to publish my works, which I thought were not worth publishing.

If your friends tell you your work is good and you should publish, but you don't have confidence in your own work, that is where a writers groups can be good. If a stranger tells you your work is good, you believe them more than you believe your friends, who sometimes you think are too kind.
C.A. Hunter Currently working on 2 books, one book 2 from the series "My Planet My Galaxy Destined Universe". This book will be called, "Fleeing From Destiny".
The 2nd is the "Soap" style novella about a University Library.
C.A. Hunter Most of my inspiration comes from reading books other authors have published.

Occasionally through a conversation that I have with people. One book I am currently working on was the result of a lunch room joke about someone writing a "Soap" about a University Library.

So I did, and forwarded it to those who used to watch the day time soaps with me.

But it has taken me over 15 years to actually do something about publishing it.
C.A. Hunter The way I write is probably a little more unconventional than most authors who start with a plot, and map out their stories.

Most of my works just come to me when I least expect them. I will start getting either conversations or "scenes" running through my thoughts. Until I write them down these thoughts just keep circulating.

Once I start writing things just flow and I can write several thousand words before I need to take a break and wait for inspiration to hit again for the story to continue.
