I walk away from writing for a while and paint. Painting pacifies my mind and at the same time, gives me perspective on what next to do or to write. I also watch a movie, read a good book, cook a meal, take a walk. Anything to regain the inspiration and continuity of thoughts in what I am presently writing. It may take an hour or a day but it works, instead of fretting and despairing over it.
