My most recent book, Between Death and Destiny, stemmed from an idea I had written down in an old notebook years before. I was going through some papers and came across this entry, all of a sudden I had the story in my head and it was time to get it out.

When the dreaded writer's block pays me a visit I step away from whatever I'm working on. I'll try to get inspired by looking at art online, going for a drive and listening to music, or going for a hike. Sometimes I go to antique shops to look for inspiration. You never know what will reignite the fire.
