HI! I love this question. Believe it or not, probably Star Trek. I have always had a love and wonderment for the universe and all of its mysterious, limitless, unanswered questions. If I could, I'd travel the beyond to find out anything and everything that I could, even though I don't think that is for us to know at this time.
I hope this answers your question. And thank you for reaching out. If you'd like to share, I'd love to hear from you concerning the same! :)

LOL !! It depends. If it's 3:00 in the morning, I put my pen down and find myself staring off into space thinking, but not allowing myself to digest. If it is in the middle of the day, I get up from overthinking and keep busy to distract myself. I do that until the words hit me like lightening, and then run to get them down on paper so that I don't lose them. I've found that if I don't write when it hits me, it may not hit me the same way the second time around - if there is a second time around. Looking back over what I've written also helps sometimes, as does remembering why I felt the desire to begin the story in the first place.
Lastly - I believe that if you have a true passion for something, inevitably the words will come. Sometimes you just have to let the mind go and the heart take over. Figure out how to make the words perfect after you have the thought down.
Hope this helps! Obviously today is not one of those days that I have writer's block ! :)
Thanks for taking the time to reach out and for your question. Feel free to stay in touch!
Godspeed!

Words. Sounds so simple, but I know how powerful words are. From the Bible, to the signs on a billboard as you drive down the road. Powerful. Words can lift, conquer, provide hope and take away despair...and those things are just the beginning.
I believe that words can change a life. If you are a reader - you know just what I mean.
Thanks for taking at the time to reach out! I love your question! Feel free to stay in touch and provide any feedback if anything I write provides some sort of impact, on or in your life.

It sounds like you are writing! And if you are - Congratulations! And if you aren't yet - go for it! I truly believe writing is a gift, not just an art. And if you have a passion for it, the story (or stories) will come.
I've always loved writing, but until I made the decision to publish, I never knew the sacrifices and hard work required to "bring the story to life". But I must say, it is one of the most gratifying accomplishments that I have ever experienced!
So...in a nutshell - do it. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. Make your style your own, and believe in yourself. You got this!!
Best of luck! Feel free to stay in touch and let me know how it is going!

Thank you so much for asking! I actually have two more books in progress. One is similar to 'Waking on Water', which is titled 'Allowing Happiness' and the other is much more humorous. I also have tons of poetry I want to publish and a few I'm trying to get put to music.
I hope that you have read 'Walking on Water', and that you will want to read my next book! I would love any feedback if you have something you'd like to share :)
In the meantime, thank you for taking the time to connect, and feel free to stay in touch as I journey along!

That is a great question...and believe it or not, it seems to come in the middle of least opportune times. I'll be driving down the road, in the shower, working in the yard. Those are just a few. But most usually I wake up from a deep sleep in the wee hours of the morning to find something has struck me that I have to write down. I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have the desire to write, or to help people. I truly believe it is God using me to reach those searching for peace and direction. The inspiration comes from something you are passionate about, and then everything else falls into place.
I hope this answers your question. Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to me. If you are writing, don't stop. Writing is a gift.

From the biblical story found in Matthew 14:22-33. It's a story of faith in Jesus, and what happens whenever we succumb to doubt and lose that faith. While the story in Matthew is very real, the title is just a metaphor for those who feel as though they may be slipping into the abyss of life, and reach out to Jesus, accepting His grace to save them just as He saved Peter. I don't know if you have read my book, but this poem came to me around 3:00 in the morning as I was about to publish. I knew immediately it was meant for the book. I hope you like it, and I hope this answers your question. Thank you so much for taking the time to connect. Walk on Water
Just as I thought the word might consume me, pull me under as if in a stormy sea,
I felt a hand reach out for mine, lifting me up just in time.
I head the whisper, have faith I am here; there's nothing to be afraid of , if you'll draw near...
For I will keep you safe from any harm, do not be distressed...do not be alarmed.
Though you may be tossed, the waters brought, you feel as if you have had enough,
I'll be your lifeline, the light in the dark; I'll be your map, the compass of your heart.
I'll guide you through, get you back to shore, no matter where you are, where you were before.
And you feel your faith begin to falter, believe in Me, and you will walk on water.
