I read and research since ideas come from a vast area of subjects. I sleep because ideas come from my insane insomnia. So while trying to sleep I can be quite creative. I edit through a piece and that can trigger the creativity again to finish it.

I'm not entirely sure where inspiration comes from. It seems to crash into me from nowhere. I do get inspiration from all the books I have ever read and all the things I have ever researched. Or bizarre dreams I have had. Or daydreaming. Often from my insomnia... laying there trying to sleep for hours and I play with ideas, conversations and characters.

Swords & sorcery fantasy novel. Wizard class rule in conjunction with the King to keep the world safe from a so called natural phenomena. But only in parts of the country where there are not people that rebel their rule. A world of slavery and control. The main character is a unaffiliated wizard who has fought the system on a number of occasions, but has her own reasons for everything she does.
