I love regency romance as you probably know and I would like to stay (for a time) in this period. But I am too aware that, as a women, I am very privileged to live in the time and the place I was born into. At that period it would have been impossible for me to go to university and if I would live in a war-zone I would not have been so lucky to live such a happy life. Women are normally quite unconscious about this facts but as a realistic person (although very romantic) I cannot ignore that.

This summer I will read few books - I really have no time at all with the release of my second book "Expectations", the second in the marriage series and the publication of my first book "The Duke´s daughter" in Spanish and German.

My life has no mystery although maybe you could plot some of the events that happened in my life into one.
For example: I met my husband (spanish) in Kfar Blum, a Kibbutz in the north of Israel. It was love at (nearly) first sight and we still are together after (soon) 30 years.
Then, after finishing my studies in Germany I came here to Spain to marry although my spanish at that time was quite bad...

I think I was first astonished and then impressed how peoples view of you change when you tell them that you are a writer - most did not expect it.
I love to see their faces of awe - and assure them that I am still the same as before starting to write but their image of you change a lot.

These days are full with promoting my first book, The Duke´s daughter, but I have nearly finished the second book of the series.

In the last ten years or so a lot of new writers of this genre published new books of that era and as a frequent reader I started to read books from new authors.

Since I was sixteen years old I am a fan of Jane Austin and her books.
