James D. Macon Zeal came to me on the spur of the moment. As my imagination began to flesh him out his story formed. It surprised me to discover that a Fantasy story revealed itself instead of a Science Fiction one I always thought I would write first.
James D. Macon I have always wanted to write. I had a double major in college in communications. It ended up becoming a minor. I did a bit of writing and poetry in college, but life had a way of placing other priorities that took a lead what I accomplished. Finally my wife challenged me to write which was the kick in the butt I needed. Purveyors and Acquirers was the result.
James D. Macon I am currently doing two things. Working to bring book two in The Phosfire Journey's to print this fall. The second is beginning to write book four in the series.
James D. Macon The most important thing is just write. Put words down in a consistent fashion. Writing is like a muscle. You have to exercise it to make it stronger.
James D. Macon Basically leave set things down and let the subconscious perk a bit till the answer brews. Also a long walk listening to music doesn't hurt.
James D. Macon Being able to share my stories with others and bring a bit of enjoyment to them.
