"Otis the Donkeysus" came from a drawing. I was sitting at my desk one day doodling, and I ended up drawing this sweet, forlorn little winged donkey looking up at the sky. I loved this little pen and ink drawing, and I kept looking at it. The more I looked, the more I felt like his story needed to be told. Why did he look so sad? The story evolved from that simple drawing.

I have several projects that I am currently working on. I am starting a picture book series called the Adventures of Fox and Quill. The first story in the series is "Fox Finds a Pet". The first draft is written and I am working on the illustrations.
I am also just starting to work on an illustration project for a new children's book by author Tony Thomas.
Lastly, I would like to return to a half written fantasy novel, "After Wonderland". This has been sitting on my computer for several years now. I love the characters and the story, but have simply not had the time and energy needed to work on it. I hope to breath new life into it in 2020!
