Actually, it is more general than that. It can make phone calls, send emails and texts, tell you the weather, tell jokes, as trivia questions and much more. The advanced version, which costs extra, has the detective functions. Saga Private Assistant is in Beta test on Google Play now.

Thanks for the compliment. I plan two more books in the series. The next is Ghost and the Robot. Right now I'm working on releasing the Saga app. Google just informed me the app has a copyright violation...because it has art from the cover of Tiger and the Robot.

Tiger and the Robot features a smartphone based AI detective, Saga. I have taken some time off from writing prose to writing computer code, to bring Saga to life. She's getting close. A sample exchange:

Nick and Nora Charles. Introduced in the Dashiell Hammett novel The Thin Man, they became the archetypal detective couple. I love their romantic and intellectual banter and humor.
Lately TV series have taken up the genre, examples being Hart to Hart and Castle. But Nick and Nora were better.
