Grahame Shannon Actually, it is more general than that. It can make phone calls, send emails and texts, tell you the weather, tell jokes, as trivia questions and much more. The advanced version, which costs extra, has the detective functions. Saga Private Assistant is in Beta test on Google Play now.
Grahame Shannon Thanks for the compliment. I plan two more books in the series. The next is Ghost and the Robot. Right now I'm working on releasing the Saga app. Google just informed me the app has a copyright violation...because it has art from the cover of Tiger and the Robot.
Grahame Shannon Tiger and the Robot features a smartphone based AI detective, Saga. I have taken some time off from writing prose to writing computer code, to bring Saga to life. She's getting close. A sample exchange:

Q: Define ugly
A: Alexander Boldizar. He even wrote a book about it.

Q: What do you think about sex?
A: I hear sex is great. I'm waiting for Amazon to deliver it.

Q: How smart are you?
A: There is a very, very tall coconut tree and two animals compete to see who is the fastest to get the banana. A Chimp and a Monkey. Who do you guess will win?
Q: The monkey?
A: You're an idiot. Coconut trees don't have bananas.
Grahame Shannon Writing fiction. It allows me to write real stories the way I think they should have been rather than as they were. Just have to change the names:)

I always think of a great retort to an insult or slight--usualy too late. But in a book, I can make it happen.
Grahame Shannon Don't have it. I always have something to write. But when I run out of steam on one story I just start an new one. I have a lot of unpublished first chapters...
Grahame Shannon Nick and Nora Charles. Introduced in the Dashiell Hammett novel The Thin Man, they became the archetypal detective couple. I love their romantic and intellectual banter and humor.

Lately TV series have taken up the genre, examples being Hart to Hart and Castle. But Nick and Nora were better.
Grahame Shannon There is an app under development. Just how long it will take to release, is as in the book, somewhat undetermined. It will be ready when it's ready.
