Marge and Homer Simpson, Probably not the answer anyone would think of, but I love how Marge just loves Homer with all of his numerous faults. I think humor is so important in a spousal relationship - even though they are only cartoon people I believe they truly represent what is really good about marriage. If you can relate to the Simpsons marriage in any way or on any level you know what I am talking about. Hats off to Marge and Homer..

Even though my novels are fiction, most of the time I get inspiration from actual events in history. I am an avid western history buff and if I found something I am interested in, I will be like a dog with a bone and read everything associated with it. Once that is done, I will build a fictional story based somewhat on those true events. In the end the original story that inspired it has been replaced with my version.

Write for yourself and no one else. Write to entertain yourself and make yourself happy and if that is all you accomplish, then your writing is a success. If you enjoy your writing - more than likely others will also.
